Softball Tryouts

Softball Tryouts 

 We had softball tryouts on sunday wich was yesterday. First we had to go up in a place like a fort. 8 year olds and under got a yellow jersey but 9 years or older got black jerseys. Then we had to go practice catching with a partner. With our partners we practiced catching popflies , grounders, and plain ones. When we were catching me and my partner had to switch because I I kept on throwing on one side or the other. Next we went to the other feild and they hit the ball with the bat and they were grounders so we caught them and threw them to third base. Everyone got to do it 3 times. Yellow jerseys got to go first on everything because I think that they were the youngest. Next we did pop flies. When we did pop flies flies I caught none. The last but not least we did batting. When we did batting we had our own bats unless you did not bring yours they had extra. We also used our own hats unless we did not have ours they had extra. I really wanted to be on my cousins team. The next day my friend told me that I was on double A. The team name was the Brewers. And guess what my cousin was on my team and my friend was on my team also. I had really fun at tryouts.
