My sister did Battle of the books her team name was the state squirrels. Her teammates were Kelsie, Kendall, Melinda, and Riley .they won regionals so they went to state when we were driving to Salem where the finals was getting held. When we were driving there we had snacks.It took us almost the whole day to get there. When we got there We played sharks and Minos in the pool of our hotel then when it was 8:00 we went into our room and went to sleep.when we woke up we had pancakes then left to the battle of the books state. Right when I got inside I Was so amazed because Roland Smith was autographing books. Then he told a story it was about when he was little.He was trying to catch Sasquatch he dug a hole then when his mom was mowing the lawn she fell in it and he said I caught Sasquatch then my sister started her battle she lost both times so we left .have you gone to Salem?
