When I went to the dentist we had to wait in the waiting room for my name to be called. We went into one of the rooms where they could work on my teeth. They started with numbing my upper part of my mouth then the Orthodontist came in and used a tool on my upper lip to numb it. Then the Orthodontist used pliers to pull out my teeth to make room for my braces. Have you ever had teeth polled?
Yes, I have had teeth pulled and it was just like you described. When I was in third grade I had 6 teeth pulled so that I would have room for my other teeth to straighten out.
ReplyDeleteNo I have never got any teeth puled but I don`t think I want to get any puled.
ReplyDeleteI remember having teeth pulled when I was a child. I still remember the taste and smell of the experience. The numbing medicine in the shot had a banana taste. My children have had to have teeth pulled to make room for braces. It's a little work in the beginning but when they are done, the teeth look so nice and straight. It's worth it!
ReplyDeleteI bet those were tough days for all of you! I had my teeth pulled without numbing medicine. You see, I went in to get my braces off and when the orthodontist removed the bracket attached to my two rear upper molars the molars came out with the brackets.
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time watching my daughter have her teeth pulled. I knew it was going to be hard but she was so brave and when it was over she healed quickly!
Like Mrs. Moore said, "It's worth it!"
