My Cracked Head

So this all started when I was 6 and I got off the bus to go to daycare. So I was playing with my 3-year older than me friend Ryan. We were passing a ball back and forth over a sandbox. A kid named Gabe bumped into me and I hit the corner of the sandbox and just then the ball hit hit my back. I went to the hospital and while going I held a wash cloth to my head. I was as lucky as possible to get it glued not stitched. That's why you don't throw a ball above a sand box with people around-also be careful.

  1. That is a bummer that you got hurt playing catch. It sounds like you were really happy to get the wound glued instead of stitched. Have you ever had stitches?

  2. I like how you ended your story with the lesson that you learned. I think it's clever.

  3. I remember how tough you were about it like it was no big deal.
