Red Woods

The When I was 7 I went to the trees of mystery that is the red woods. I just got out of the car and I saw a humongous man and I said mom who is that? She said that is a statue of paul Bunyan the tallest man to roam the earth. I saw a big trail behind Paul Bunyan. Can we follow the trail? Yes my dad said after all it does say please enter. I was the first person to go in when I looked around I saw twisty trees thick trees and one that had all of that combined. Then when I turned around I saw with no doubt the biggest the thickest the most tallest tree I have ever seen in my life!! Wow I could not believe my very own living eyeballs!!!! So I grabbed my camera and took some really good pictures of my sister trying to hug the whole tree but that didn't work to well. Look over there I said I saw a heart shaped log so I took some more pictures for it to last. Have you ever been to the red woods?

  2. When I taught in Southern Oregon my class used to take fieldtrips to the Trees of Mystery. Your descriptions were perfect and it brought back memories of those trips. Anyone who hasn't been there would get a good picture in their heads because of your descriptive writing.
